Mykolaiv – City on the Wave: Building Expanded Partnerships for Sustainable Recovery and Transformation of Mykolaiv City
The aim of the conference is to present the new economic mission (based on the Blue and Green Economy model) of the city of Mykolaiv and its current Portfolio to a wide range of stakeholders, including municipalities, private companies, financial institutions, and others, to establish connections and seek potential new partnerships, investments, as well as opportunities for funding and financial support. The specific objectives are:
Position the city of Mykolaiv as a leader in sustainable economic transformations in Ukraine.
Establishing connections and strategic partnerships with a broad network of private and public organizations, and potential investors
Facilitate the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experiences among representatives of local authorities, international partners, the private sector, and civil society organizations.
During the conference, the city will present the Mykolaiv Municipal Territorial Community Strategy up to 2027, the vision for a new economic model for the city, developments in the Master Plan of the city, and strategic projects and initiatives for the city’s recovery, such as the “Investment Tracker,” “Innovation District,” “Residential Area,” “Revitalization Concept of Mykolaiv Shipyard,” “New Public Space Concept AQUAPORT Mykolaiv,” “Mykolaiv Industrial Park Concept,” the blue transition platform blueplatform.info, and ongoing collaborations within the Denmark-Mykolaiv partnership, UN agencies, and other international organizations. Additionally, plans for the upcoming year and collaboration opportunities will be outlined.
