Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024

The UN4UkrainianCities project is proud to participate in the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024 (URC2024), a high-level political event dedicated to the swift recovery and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine. As the first URC hosted in an EU member state, this conference comes at a critical time for Ukraine, reflecting the Lugano principles and showcasing Ukrainian reform progress in the context of its economic resilience and EU accession process. The URC2024 aims to mobilize continued international support for Ukraine's recovery, reconstruction, reform, and modernization efforts, focusing on four key dimensions: business, human, local and regional, and EU.

The UN4UkrainianCities project's participation in the URC2024 aligns with its mission to support sustainable urban development in Ukraine. By engaging with international stakeholders, sharing best practices, and fostering partnerships, the project seeks to contribute to the recovery and reconstruction of Ukrainian cities, with a particular focus on the local and regional dimension. The project's team will actively participate in the Recovery Forum, an interactive platform for Ukrainian, German, and international stakeholders, to build new partnerships and seize opportunities for collaboration in the rebuilding of Ukraine's urban landscapes.
