Ukrainian Urban Planning Cadaster: Urban and regional planning in preparation for European accession

Ukraine’s future entry into the European Union will require a review of the country’s urban and regional planning system, in order to align Ukraine to other member countries. Other Eastern European countries that have either recently become or requested to become EU members have gone through a similar process. This workshop aims to discuss the challenges and opportunities of using new planning tools and methods, understanding how these relate to existing plans and governance processes in Ukraine.
