According to One Works managing partner Giulio De Carli, Mykolaiv can become an ideal model of reconstruction based on the principle of “better than it was” and infrastructure development, which will spread to other Ukrainian and European cities.

Data from the city’s geo-information system, developed by initiative of Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych, is successfully being used by Italian specialists. UNECE is supporting the development of a new master plan which will serve as the basis for the revival of Mykolaiv and will determine the direction of the city’s development for the coming decades.
